Fjeld Consultant provides a full range of services within the project-and heavy lift shipping market. Based on more than 20 years’ experience from the on- / offshore industry we have developed a high working standard with focus on dedicated HSE systems in order to carry out the project in a safe and efficient manner.

Fjeld Consultant has access to a vast number of highly qualified marine surveyors, ships designers, ship owners, naval architects and structural engineers. We also have a constant focus to be in possession of efficient and reputable software solutions.

Since the start back in 1992, Fjeld Consultant has been a practical orientated marine surveyor. Our aim is to cherish this attitude. We believe that this attitude helps us to see solutions, possibilities, potential showstoppers and dangers in an operation at an early stage, and of course take responsibility for the entire load out operation.

Our main playground is project shipping, therefor ships design has a major focus in our daily work. Detailed knowledge to ship design gives us the ability to see possibilities, solutions and of course the dangers and limitations. Fjeld Consultant has built up an extensive database of different ship designs, owners and also their main trade lines.

With more than 20 years’ experience within the traditional onshore based industry we know the importance to keep our eyes open for standard solutions in order to obtain flexibility and cost efficiency. This can for example be use of standard weight spread solutions or standard tonnage to avoid unnecessary positioning and redelivery costs.

By being involved at an early stage in the project / design phase, we can give our clients valuable input with regards to sea fastening design, forces to be considered during transport and how to accommodate these forces in an cost efficient manner.
