The Fjeld Consultant history

1992 Fjeld Consultant AS was founded by Captain Bjørn Fjeld and the project and heavy lift broker J. Martens AS.

2000 Fjeld Consultant AS became a 100% daughter company of J. Martens AS.

2009 In March, J. Martens AS including Fjeld Consultant AS were acquired
by the global freight company Kuehne + Nagel AS.

2012 In May, Kuehne+Nagel decided to sell Fjeld Consultant.
JIH holding AS bought 100% of the shares from Kuehne & Nagel AS.

2012 Captain Bjørn Fjeld and Captain Erik Vellinga became part owners in the company.
Fjeld Consultant AS is now a fully private owned company - owned by FC employees, Bjørn Fjeld and JIH Holding AS.

2012 In July, Fjeld Consultant moved into new offices in the main port of Bergen.
